North Miami CRA renews inspection contract with Green Arrow Sustainable Consulting for housing rehab program

The North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency approved an amendment to its agreement with Green Arrow Sustainable Consulting, Inc. to continue providing inspection and quality-control services for the agency's housing rehabilitation grants program.

Staff described the amendment as a renewal of a contract originally awarded March 14, 2023, with a per-project fee of $2,500 and an estimated maximum aggregate of $65,000 based on roughly 26 anticipated projects for the fiscal year. During public discussion no speakers addressed the item; board members asked procedural questions about renewal options in the original contract and staff confirmed the renewal falls within those options.

Chairman Desme moved to approve the item and Est Irvin seconded; the motion carried by the tally reported at the meeting (4-0). The board was briefed that the contract continues an existing arrangement to provide inspections for smaller residential rehabilitation projects and is intended to keep those projects moving through construction and reimbursement processes.
