The Alvin ISD Education Foundation told trustees it contributed $423,277.84 back to the district this year, supporting programs, professional development and other classroom needs.
Lori Lynw, president of the foundation, said the organization has reallocated nearly $1 million to the district over the past 18 months and highlighted the foundation’s work starting principal certification support after a teacher inquiry. "This year's total contribution back to the district is $423,277.84," Lynw said.
The foundation described partnerships with sponsors, volunteers and district staff as central to its work and thanked district executive staff for daily operational support. Foundation leaders encouraged community engagement and noted the funds support initiatives aligned with the district’s priorities.
