Quarterly safety report: officials say inspected schools had no deficiencies

Captain Christy Sturup, director of safety and security, presented the district’s quarterly safety report required under House Bill 1473. She reported that four schools were inspected or reinspected during the quarter, representing 5.33% of schools, and said those four schools had no safety requirement deficiencies.

The report was presented as part of compliance with state reporting requirements; board members had no follow-up questions and the item concluded without action.
