House of Delegates passes Maryland Values Act of 2026 on third reading

Annapolis — The Maryland House of Delegates passed House Bill 1341, titled the Maryland Values Act of 2026 (Immigration Enforcement — Expanding Sensitive Locations, Notification and Guidance), on third reading and final passage on Feb. 20, 2026.

The clerk called the roll for the final vote and reported 90 votes in the affirmative and 34 in the negative; the clerk declared the bill passed, having received a constitutional majority. No floor debate on the bill was recorded before the roll call.

House leaders handled the bill as part of the reading calendar; the House referred other newly introduced measures to committee earlier in the session.
