North Aurora board approves special-use permit for Exquisite Celebrations at 738 Butterfield Road

The North Aurora Village Board voted March 2 to grant a special-use permit for a private event space at 738 Butterfield Road, known as Exquisite Celebrations. Nathan presented the application and said the space is planned to hold approximately 100 people, with 50 parking spaces dedicated to the business within a lot that contains 122 total spaces.

Nathan said the plan commission reviewed the proposal on Feb. 3 and recommended approval; the board gave final approval at the March 2 meeting. A motion to approve passed on roll call: Trustees Lowry, Nedge, Salazar, Christensen, Curtis and Gaitley each voted yes.

The approval concludes the board’s final review for the special use; no conditions or modifications were recorded in the meeting minutes beyond the staff presentation. The board did not identify any outstanding objections during discussion.
