At its April 23 meeting the Town of Goshen Board approved several agenda items and motions that were procedural or ministerial in nature.
Key votes included release of a $35,000 clearing permit performance guarantee for HQCA Clean Energy Services after the building inspector and engineer confirmed permit conditions were met; approval to reduce the Javelin Course subdivision performance bond from $455,700 to $234,700 per the highway superintendent's recommendation; and authorization for the supervisor to pay the accounts payable check run for April 23, 2026, in the amount of $293,341.81.
The board also approved the first of five Social Island LLC event dates (May 15) conditioned on legal review and police coordination; the remaining dates were deferred for further review. Two 30‑day municipal notices for changes related to alcoholic beverage licenses (Pasta Bella Nona relocation and a limited canned‑beverage authorization at a golf range) were accepted, conditioned on review. The board approved the April 9 meeting minutes.
