Moderator announces ballot order for Williamsville Central School District May 19 budget vote and board election

A moderator at a brief public ballot-draw session for the WILLIAMSVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT announced the order of candidates on the ballot for the district’s May 19 budget vote and board-member election, placing Lauren Challenger first, Michael Buscaglia second, Phil Danielson third and Dr. Carrie Spicer fourth.

The draw was conducted publicly; the moderator said names were placed into the ballot-drawing cups and then read aloud. "First one on the ballot Lauren Challenger," the moderator said, followed by the remaining names and the announced order.

The moderator closed the session by thanking the public and the helpers named during the event and confirming polling information: voting will be held on May 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Williamsville North High School Gymnasium. No motions or votes were taken during the drawing, which serves only to determine the order in which candidate names will appear on the district ballot.

The ballot draw is a routine administrative step ahead of the scheduled budget vote and board election on May 19.
