San Diego County supervisors to consider charter amendments April 21; land-use session set for April 22

A presenter for San Diego County said the Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, April 21, at 10:00 a.m. at the County Administration Center, with a delayed start to recognize the county’s volunteers of the year.

The meeting preview said the general legislative session will include 24 agenda items: 13 consent items handled as routine business and 11 discussion items for more in-depth consideration. Item 14, described in the preview as “proposed amendments to the county charter,” is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on April 21.

The presenter said any items that carry over will be taken up Wednesday, April 22, beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by the land-use legislative session. That session was described as containing 10 items, including eight consent items and two items listed for discussion.

“On Tuesday, April 21st, we’re kicking things off at 10:00 a.m. an hour later than usual because we’ll be celebrating our volunteers of the year that morning,” the presenter said.
