Daniel Elliot used the public‑comment period to press the Flat Rock‑Hawcreek School Corp School Board on why an updated whiteboard version of the agenda stopped appearing on the district website and to report he could not hear a past meeting when watching remotely.
“My question is why have we stopped posting this on our for our agendas?” Elliot said during his three‑minute slot, noting that up until three meetings earlier the whiteboard had been available online. He also said a past meeting's audio “was not working,” forcing him to email a staff member to request a recording.
The Superintendent responded, acknowledging two separate issues: earlier technical audio problems that were resolved and the operational practice of using a poster/whiteboard version of the agenda that can change up to the start of the meeting. The Superintendent said an earlier whiteboard copy had been posted inadvertently before a past meeting and that staff are exploring ways to let remote viewers see the board's working whiteboard in real time during meetings.
No formal policy change or motion resulted from the comment period; the board thanked Elliot for his remarks and continued with the agenda.
