At its March 3 meeting, the Lewis County Legislature approved a series of resolutions covering finance, land use, energy policy and labor agreements.
Key votes and outcomes
- Resolution 55-2026 (audit and allow claims totaling $2,566,148.72): moved by Vince and seconded by Tom Osborne; Legislator Moer recused and a roll-call vote recorded nine 'yes' votes and one recusal; resolution carried.
- Resolution 56-2026 (amend compensation plan for Community Services): moved and carried on voice vote.

- Resolution 78-2026 (authorize formation of Lewis County Land Bank Corporation): amendment to specify a district 3 initial board member (named Kimbo) was adopted; the amended resolution carried.
- Resolution 79-2026 (ratify tentative agreement and final contract with Local 825/CSEA representing sheriff's employees): late resolution moved and carried.
