A local code-enforcement board on Dec. 13 tabled two permit cases for follow-up and approved sending notices to property owners or representatives to appear at the next meeting if required work is not complete.
The chair asked for corrections to minutes and the board approved them by voice vote before moving to case updates. A staff member distributed 'before' and 'after' photos for case US-23 d003 and said that 'Tyler Harold' had been allowed into the building to take pictures and that the owner was renovating with plans to sell. The staff member said they would 'get with Tyler' to obtain a clearer completion timeframe and present an update at the next meeting.
At the request of board members, a motion was made and passed to send notice to the owner or representative (referenced as 'Tyler') to appear in person at the next meeting; the board member who proposed the motion said that 'if it's not completed by then then the board may move forward on petition.'
Staff also reported on two demolition permits: CR-23 d009 (Terry L.), issued Jan. 12, which carries a 90-day completion window from that date, and CR-23 d011 (Jimmy Winchell), issued Dec. 11, which also carries a 90-day window. The board moved to table both items until the next meeting to check progress and approved sending notice to Winchell if the work remained incomplete.
A separate abatement, CR-23 d020, was turned over to a staff member identified as Earlene for lien processing; staff said the file is on their desk and they are working on it. No enforcement petition or formal order was issued at the meeting.
The board closed with a motion to adjourn. The board recorded its motions and voice votes as 'all in favor' but did not provide roll-call tallies in the public minutes; specific dates for required follow-up were not set beyond the existing 90-day permit windows.
