St. Bernard council unanimously adopts two ordinances on appropriations and ward amendment

St. Bernard — The village council unanimously adopted two ordinances at the meeting.

Ordinance 7-2024, brought forward by the auditor, provides additional appropriations to the general fund including $10,000 for professional services and $4,300 earmarked to the master plan for streets and sewers. Council voted to suspend the second and third readings and adopted the ordinance by a 7–0 roll call.

Ordinance 8-2024 amends St. Bernard’s codified ordinances to revise section 105 D1, splitting the division into two wards. After a motion to suspend further readings, council adopted Ordinance 8-2024 by unanimous vote.
