Glendora Unified introduces new director of fiscal services, Araseli Medina

The Board of Education formally introduced Araseli (Arelli) Medina as the district’s new Director of Fiscal Services.

Mr. Osborne invited the board and audience to welcome Mrs. Medina and said she "brings a wealth of expertise in fiscal management and educational finance," citing prior roles in payroll, special education funding and nutrition services oversight. Medina told the board she is local to the community, reviewed her career path in education finance and thanked the interview panel and family in attendance.

Medina said she intends to provide clear fiscal data to support schools and leadership: "I look forward to... support the district with providing good fiscal data," and thanked colleagues for a warm welcome. Board members applauded and invited Medina and her family to take a photo after recognition.

The recognition was ceremonial; no formal personnel vote was recorded in the meeting transcript.
