The Norwalk Planning & Zoning Commission cleared several noncontroversial items on its consent portion of the agenda.
Public Works senior civil engineer Dan Stanton described a needed drainage easement in the Lockwood/Heather area; the commission moved to recommend the city proceed to obtain the easement and the motion passed unanimously.
Attorney Liz Suchi and Harbor Ventures principal Rob Fehey asked for a one‑year extension to secure zoning and building permits for an approved contractor yard at 18 Harbor Avenue. The commission granted the requested extension by roll call.
On the capital budget, staff noted the commission previously held a public hearing; the commission voted to find the FY 2026–27 capital budget consistent with the Plan of Conservation and Development and forwarded the finding to the city council.
Votes at a glance: 824 referral to acquire drainage easement (approved unanimously); Harbor Ventures/SP CAM extension (one‑year extension approved unanimously); FY 2026–27 capital budget consistency (vote recorded, motion carried; one abstention on minutes noted separately).
