State Rep. Marilyn Lane thanks Mount Clemens, presents district memento

State Representative Marilyn Lane spoke to the Mount Clemens City Commission and residents, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to represent communities in her legislative district and to remain connected to Mount Clemens.

"I come tonight because I want to give you my heartfelt appreciation and thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to represent all of you in Mount Clemens," Lane said, describing how she kept photos of the communities in her Lansing office to remember who sent her to the legislature. She presented a picture of the district to the commission and extended holiday greetings to residents.

Mayor and commissioners thanked Lane for her years of service and responsiveness to local concerns. The exchange concluded with applause; no formal action was required.
