Board member announces June resignation; Santa Barbara City opens applications for vacancy

Board member Graffiti told the Santa Barbara City Single Family Design Board on March 9 that she will resign from the board effective June 9 after three and a half years of service. "Come June 9th, I'm going to be resigning from single family design board. It has been a wonderful three three and a half years on the board," Graffiti said during announcements.

Chair Sherry announced the application schedule for the vacancy: applications are due Friday, April 3 at 5:00 p.m. and must be submitted online through the City Clerk's Office; interviews are expected to be held in front of the City Council on Tuesday, May 5, and appointments are scheduled for Tuesday, June 9. Chair Sherry said Vice Chair Mosulhee is expected to reapply. Staff said they will send follow‑up emails to interested parties and asked board members and the public to refer potential applicants to the City Clerk's Office.
