The City of Fremont Planning Commission voted Jan. 19 to table a preliminary plat submitted by Deerfield Fremont LLC (applicant Michael Maley) for a proposed duplex development.
The application sought approval of a preliminary plat for a 46R2 (Low/Medium Density Residential District) project consisting of duplex units across 47 lots, on property generally located southeast of Pathfinder Drive and Wilmont Street. Planning Director Ray presented the staff report, which included findings and a recommended conditional approval. The commission opened the public hearing, received comments, and Chairman Borisow closed the hearing.
Following that presentation and public comment, Commissioner Nielsen moved to table the item; Commissioner Darling seconded. The motion passed by roll call vote (Einspahr, Borisow, Landholm, Darling, Nielsen, Jaeger and Sawtelle voting in favor), 7-0. The minutes record that Commissioners McKay and Carlson were absent.
