The Lacey Disability Board convened at 12:15 and conducted a short, procedural meeting in which members reviewed routine reimbursement claims, approved past minutes and had no public comment.
Alyssa, filling in for Jenny, read the itemized claims submitted by members. She reported $3,015 for dental reimbursement; $39 for vision; $1,129.89 for massage and prescription; $1,699.97 for a hearing aid; $458.21 for prescription reimbursement; $709.40 for vision; and $340.50 for dental. "Hi, I'll be doing the review of claims um in Jenny's place," Alyssa said before reading the amounts. The listed claims total about $7,391.97. Board members confirmed those claims fell under the board's approval threshold and did not require formal approval at the meeting.
The board then addressed minutes from its January 8 meeting. The chair apologized for missing the formal approval earlier in the agenda and asked for a motion to accept the January minutes; a motion and second were made. One member announced an abstention; the chair called a voice vote and stated the motion carried.
During the meeting a member reported not receiving the agenda because a city email account had been down since February. The chair asked Alyssa to follow up with staff to resolve the issue so the member will receive future materials.
There was no public comment. The chair thanked members for attending — including an early-morning arrival, Nick — and adjourned the meeting.
The board scheduled dental coverage as a topic for the next meeting; Jenny is slated to lead that item.
