Randy Fox provided the council with an airport status update, reporting several projects and operations figures. Fox said a contract for new T‑hangars was approved to reuse the space where an old church had stood; surrounding fence work and clearances were being adjusted to accommodate the hangars.
He reported the taxiway project was largely finished, with remaining grading and lighting work. For February, Sweet Aviation reported 296 gallons of 100LL fuel sold in about 90 transactions and 15,350 gallons of Jet A; Fox said about 24,000 gallons were on site and that Jet A sales represented a significant share of on‑site supply. The airport has 19 hangar tenants (four jets and 15 general aviation) and an active flight school with training flights, simulator sessions and rentals.
Fox warned that the runway will likely be closed for about two months in 2027 for milling and replacement and encouraged tenants to plan accordingly. No council action was required on the update.
