The Limestone County Commissioners Court on an unrecorded voice vote certified $98,874 in FEMA reimbursement for road and bridge equipment, the court said, closing out a funding item discussed at a previous meeting.
The amount was presented as the final step to record the reimbursement for county auditors and to show that funds have been received into the county’s accounts. According to the presentation, the funds will cover the remainder of the cost for two large pieces of equipment described as a hauler and a dump truck.
The court moved, seconded and approved the certification without further debate. A presiding commissioner asked staff to secure the necessary signature and file documentation with auditors.
The certification completes an earlier procurement step; the court did not discuss vendor names, purchase dates or delivery timelines during the meeting. The auditors’ paperwork and the certification were framed as an administrative action to reflect earlier decisions.
