Muskego Common Council approves consent agenda, event agreements, multiple licenses and vouchers; festival liaison reassigned

The Muskego City Common Council met April 28, 2026 and approved its consent agenda, several resolutions, license changes, and voucher payments, and heard brief staff updates.

Consent items approved included approval of the meeting minutes from Jan. 27 and Feb. 10, 2026; resolutions declaring May 9, 2026 as World Migratory Bird Day (Res. 031-2026); appointment resolutions for citizen members and older persons (Res. 032-2026 and Res. 033-2026); and resolutions appointing a weed commissioner and declaring certain weeds noxious (Res. 034-2026 and Res. 035-2026). Under new business council approved Resolution 036-2026, an agreement with Waterbug Ski Team Incorporated to hold water ski jump and show events at Idol Isle; members said the terms match prior years with only show dates and times adjusted.

The council approved license actions including a full-service retail outlet for Bayamon Hawking LLC (North Pillar Brewing Company) to operate a beer garden at Muskego County Park on May 30 and June 27, 2026; a change of agent for Walmart Stores East LP (store #4677 on Morland Road); and a change of agent for the Moose Lodge No. 1057 on Jainsville Road. Each item was approved on voice vote.

Council also authorized utility vouchers ($69,997.94), general fund vouchers ($574,242.80) and wire transfers for debt service ($29,969.35) and payroll/invoice transmittals (amount noted in the record with a transcription discrepancy; exact figure not specified in the transcript).
