The Goshen Board of Works unanimously approved several contract and procurement actions during its meeting.
The legal department presented an agreement with Downtown Goshen, Inc. to support a sidewalk vault-repair program in the amount of $26,000; the board authorized Mayor Liy to execute the agreement. The board also approved a Peerless Midwest, Inc. contract covering professional hydrogeologic services for Kercher Wellfield test wells with a not-to-exceed amount read as $75,970 and authorized the mayor to sign.
Council staff recommended and the board approved Amendment No. 1 to the November 10, 2025 agreement with Kill & Associates to modify scope and pricing for work at the police building, including converting basement evidence storage into a strength-training area. The board also authorized an agreement with EA Pro Music to provide design documents for an AV renovation of the council chambers; the city would pay a $3,420 design-license fee only if a different contractor uses EA Pro Music’s documents.
City staff said a formal solicitation would follow for audio-visual equipment, and all four measures passed on unanimous voice votes.
