The Warrick County Area Planning Commission took two enforcement actions under "other business."
On a complaint about a trailer with signage parked at the old Wesselman's strip center (file 26014944), staff said the trailer appears to sit in the right-of-way and is unpermitted. The commission directed counsel to send a certified letter instructing the owner to remove the sign and trailer; the motion passed by voice vote.
On a second complaint at 5801 Wayside Court alleging a commercial cleaning/handyman service was operating from a residence with a trailer blocking traffic and employees parking on the street, the occupant told the board the trailer has been moved to a rented storage unit and he would work to relocate employee meeting points. Complainant Sean West said vehicles still limit sight lines. The commission voted to allow 60 days for remediation and asked staff to re-inspect and return with a report at the July meeting.
Planning staff said these items will be revisited and that any required permits or enforcement steps would follow standard county procedures.
