Selectboard approves timber and tax warrants, confirms appointments and reappointments

The selectboard approved a timber warrant for collection (the packet noted $14,165) and voted to approve multiple intent-to-cut timber notices for properties described in the meeting. The board also approved an extension to the online-pay vendor agreement to include the tax collector so that card payments may be accepted for taxes (see separate article on online payments).

On appointments, the board nominated Michael Moore to a three-year term on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and elevated Brian Groshaw from alternate to full member through 2028; both nominations were seconded and approved. The board granted permission to the Heritage Commission to manage and use the town-owned copyrighted material 'Our Yesterday' (originally published in 1999 by Carolyn Chase and transferred to the town in 2018) and approved a letter to that effect.
