Board adopts resolution honoring Kim Hodgej on her retirement

The Historic Lapeer Main Street Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors adopted a resolution at its April 22 meeting recognizing Kim Hodgej for her years of service to the organization and the downtown community. The board moved to adopt the resolution and members expressed their thanks before presenting flowers and arranging a photograph.

The resolution recited Hodgej’s work maintaining DDA records, financials and reporting, and praised her institutional knowledge and leadership in supporting downtown operations. Board members said the resolution was intended to record the organization’s appreciation and to congratulate Hodgej on her retirement.

Board members and staff briefly paused regular business to present the resolution, take a group photograph and offer personal remarks of thanks. No formal follow-up action was discussed at the meeting.
