At its April 21 meeting the Mobile City Council approved a slate of administrative resolutions and purchase orders, waived rules for immediate consideration on several consent items, and laid over two newly introduced ordinances for one week.
Key recorded outcomes included approval of minutes for April 7 and 14; passage of CIP transfers related to cruise‑terminal projects; approval of purchase orders for cybersecurity software renewal and four super‑crew pickup trucks; and approval of contracts for storm‑drainage vegetation and debris removal. The council also waived rules to allow immediate consideration of several consent resolutions.
By voice vote the council laid over an ambulance ordinance (06018) for one week and laid over two newly introduced ordinances (64019–64020) for one week under council rules. The council also rescinded resolution 60283 in its entirety (resolution referenced in the consent list) and approved appropriations for Spring Hill College and United Way of Southwest Alabama among other routine financial actions.
Separately, and noted above, the council voted to delay demolition orders for several properties for 60 days.
The meeting record shows these routine actions were carried by motion, second and voice vote; individual vote tallies are not recorded in the public transcript for most consent items.
