Forest Park clerk announces council schedule and early voting at senior center

Vanessa Holidayiday, Forest Park city clerk, reminded residents at the Ward One meeting about upcoming council meetings and early voting for the municipal election.

"The work session begins at 6:00 p.m. and the council meeting will follow at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 20," Holidayiday said. She announced early voting will run April 27–May 15 at the Forest Park Senior Center, 5087 Park Avenue, with hours across weekday and weekend days; residents were urged to check the clerk's office or the official city website for exact early‑voting hours and locations.

Multiple speakers at the meeting also urged families to ensure student attendance during Georgia Milestone testing (April 27–May 4) and highlighted city resources for voters. The meeting did not record any election‑related votes or changes to polling locations; Holidayiday asked attendees to get out and vote.
