The Village of Biscayne Park planning board approved a slate of routine permits at its meeting, including garage‑door replacement, driveway approaches, pergolas, new construction, roofing, window replacements and several demolition permits.
Highlights included: approval of a bronze garage door at Griffin Boulevard (5D10840); a revised pool location at 5G12023 Northeast 8th Avenue (lot coverage noted at about 44.2 percent) that met setback requirements and was approved; a gravel driveway approach at 6A665 Northeast 17th Street; and a 12x16 pergola at 5E105 (applicant must upload a dated survey showing the pergola location and dimensions). A new‑construction application for 10733 Northeast 9th Avenue (6F10733) was approved while staff and members noted additional building‑department permitting and documentation would follow during permitting.
The board also approved minutes from its April 6, 2026 meeting and set the next meeting for May 4. Several approvals were conditional on applicants submitting updated surveys or obtaining required permits from the building department.
The board adjourned after completing the agenda.
