Redondo Beach Unified teacher pledges continued support for students and families

Josia Palasio, a CDC teacher at Alista Preschool and Washington CDC for Redondo Beach Unified, told the meeting she has worked for the district since 2017 and expressed a desire to continue serving young children and supporting families and the local community.

"I would love to continue working with Redondo Beach Unified and supporting the families and the communities," Palasio said. She described enjoying teaching, creating a creative space for children to learn and working with colleagues who are passionate about education.

Palasio said she enjoys spending time with family, going camping, attending sports events and concerts, remarks that framed her presentation as both a professional introduction and a personal statement of commitment to the community. Her brief remarks concluded with music.
