The orientation material covers items such as oath of office, IDs and HR onboarding steps and is intended to be integrated into HR processes with a completion acknowledgement button so staff can track that new board members have seen the materials.
Board members discussed whether contact information listed on the page should be generic to guard against turnover; staff agreed to verify and correct an incorrect email address for Leon and to consider adding a phone number or a generic HR contact line.
Board members thanked Dr. McDonald and staff for the work on the website and orientation materials. The board accepted the website and mission-statement updates without objection and asked staff to make the suggested contact corrections.
