Hamilton County’s highway department presented and the board approved several procurement and payment items.
Highway staff outlined a signal maintenance service agreement with Signal Construction for $86,095 and recommended approval; the board approved the motion on voice vote. Staff also presented Supplement No. 4 with Clark Deeds for $10,000 related to rebid revisions and added construction-phase services; the supplement was approved. A three-year service contract with Biolytics was presented at $32,848 per year to support road evaluations and work-order maintenance; commissioners approved the contract after confirming it reflected prior highway meeting discussions.
The board received two guardrail repair quotes solicited through OpenGov and accepted the low bidder, James H. Drew, for the repairs. Highway staff also presented the department’s 2025 annual operations report for signature; the report was approved.
Separately under administration items, the board approved SRF disbursement request No. 53 for $52,209.97 and request No. 54 for $8,658.76, both payable to Reynolds Construction LLC for retention-release and other services related to phase 2 water and collection systems. Commissioners voted in favor of those disbursement requests.
All highway and SRF items were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes during the meeting.
