Miss Jackie, manager of the water department, told residents at a village meeting that she has been in the role for more than two years and is working to improve customer service. "Hello everyone. I'm the manager of the water department and I've been there for over two years and I'm trying to elevate the customer service department," she said.
She gave a direct contact for billing and service issues, saying residents should "come to the village hall and you can give us a call at 7088494000 option two." She urged anyone with billing inquiries, complaints or service requests to contact the office so staff can assist them.
A board member later praised the change in office atmosphere since the newly elected officials took office, telling Miss Jackie, "I walked in there and I could tell the difference in the atmosphere. It was a totally different atmosphere... So, if that if you got the credit for that, thank you." The meeting leader then thanked staff and moved on to the next agenda item.
