Planning commission approves children's activity pool replacement at Hinsdale Community Pool

The Hinsdale Planning Commission on April 6 approved findings and recommendations for case A-2-2026, clearing the way for a replacement of the children's activity pool at the Hinsdale Community Pool, 500 West Hinsdale Avenue.

The commission voted on a motion to approve the findings as submitted. Commissioner Krillenberger moved the motion and Commissioner Curry seconded. Bethany conducted a roll-call vote: Commissioners Curry, Krillenberger, Fiascone, Moore and Chairman Cashman voted Aye; Commissioners Harlow and Cernovich recorded Abstain. The motion passed.

The approval was limited to the findings and recommendations presented to the commission; no commissioners requested textual or design revisions during the meeting. Commissioners also flagged minor corrections to the previously circulated minutes earlier in the agenda (a comma and a place-name correction), but those edits did not affect the pool application.
