Several marina tenants told the advisory committee they had difficulty locating historical invoices and managing payment methods in the marina 27s Dockwa account. The harbormaster, Elise, walked commissioners through how tenants can find invoices in the Dockwa profile and said the company 27s product team is updating features to address multi-boat accounts.
"If you click the profile down in the bottom right hand corner... in the middle line it says invoices and payments. It'll tell you the current balance due, any upcoming charges," Elise said, offering to compile and distribute relevant how-to videos and links for tenants.
Tenants asked for an explanatory email or primer about finding account history and suggested Dockwa 27s marketing emails (for example, messages asking "How was your stay at Oak Harbor Marina?") be curtailed. Elise said staff would ask Dockwa about disabling that email and confirm whether a small-boat contract could suppress certain automated messages.
On billing timing, a tenant noted Dockwa sends invoice notifications early in the month and a follow-up "past due" notice a few days later; Elise explained the system 27s schedule and noted late fees are applied per the city-wide billing policy about 10 days after a due date. She said Dockwa 27s support team is responsive and can escalate account-specific problems.
The harbormaster encouraged tenants to contact marina staff or use Dockwa 27s support chat for account issues and said staff would share the most pertinent instructional materials in the coming days.
