County tables one permit, reappoints trustees and sets special IT-bid meeting

Union County commissioners handled several routine items in one block of business: building-permit review (including a variance for a proposed fire station), reappointments to local boards, and acceptance of IT bids with a special meeting scheduled for vendor presentations.

Planning staff briefed the board on permit 14-01-786 for a new fire station in the Railroad subdivision and flagged ordinance requirements for garage openings and size thresholds.
