West Chicago council adopts consent agenda; approves disbursement and telecom contract

The West Chicago City Council adopted its consent agenda on May 4, approving routine items and several staff recommendations. Council formally approved the corporate disbursement report totaling $467,663.40 and authorized the city administrator to execute a three‑year Convoy phone services hosting renewal with an approximate contract cost of $80,766 before taxes and surcharges.

Mayor Daniel Bovee announced a separate personnel resolution on the consent agenda: a proposed amendment to an employment agreement with Colin Fleury, identified in meeting materials as the chief of police.
