Jefferson County commissioners approve minutes, invoices and payroll

The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners approved routine business at its March meeting, including minutes from the Feb. 24, 2026 meeting, invoices totaling about $895,392.61 for the period Feb. 22–March 5, 2026, and payroll of about $326,786.80 for the period Feb. 8–21, 2026.

The chair asked for a motion to approve the minutes; a commissioner moved and another seconded, and the chair announced the motion carried. Commissioners then moved and seconded approval of the invoices and payroll and proceeded through roll call votes. The chair called for those in favor to signify and announced the motions carried.

These items were presented as routine financial and administrative housekeeping; no additional discussion or conditions were recorded on the record during the meeting. The board proceeded to consider other agenda items following the approvals.
