Board of Equalization approves minutes from five meetings

The Washoe County Board of Equalization approved minutes from five prior meetings during its Good Friday session.

A board member moved to approve minutes of the meetings held Jan. 15, 2026; Feb. 13, 2026; Feb. 18, 2026; Feb. 23, 2026; and Feb. 25, 2026. A second was recorded during the discussion and the chair called for an oral vote; board members who had been noted present earlier—Darren McDonald, Aaron Albbright, Robert Lner, Corinthia Yansy and Da Kobe Bernett—each responded in the affirmative and the chair said the motion carried.

Jan Gallini, the county clerk, confirmed the roll call before the vote and stated that a quorum was present. The approval of minutes was routine housekeeping on the agenda and drew no public comment.

The meeting continued with brief board member remarks and administrative announcements from the clerk, including a notice that two board seats have been reposted (see related item).
