Board clears Cheryl Condra to join Excel Entertainment board and chair its audit committee

The board recommended approval on March 12 of Cheryl Condra’s suitability to serve as a director and audit committee chair at Excel Entertainment.

Condra summarized a 30-year career that included internal audit roles at large gaming companies and recent service as Tractor Supply Company’s internal audit lead. She described her board experience at Galaxy Gaming and noted that she meets regularly with Excel’s external auditors and internal audit staff to prepare audit committee materials.

Board members asked about the difference between an internal audit executive role and an external governance role; Condra said the board seat emphasizes oversight and governance rather than day-to-day management and that she sees the role as mentoring and ensuring rigorous audit and compliance testing.

Investigations agents reported no areas of concern, and the board moved and approved the finding of suitability without conditions.
