The Southborough Conservation Commission closed a continued public hearing and issued order conditions for a water‑main replacement project on Lindbrook/Lindberg Road after hearing minor plan revisions from the applicant's consultant.
Sver Anderson, a professional wetland scientist with PAR representing the applicant, summarized a response‑to‑comments package and a revised plan set that clarified excavation dimensions, tree‑trimming locations and labeling for a small isolated vegetated wetland at Lover's Lane and Lindbrook Road. Anderson told the commission the downstream confluence check showed a nearby riverfront area “does become perennial just barely” but that the 200‑foot riverfront area does not encroach on the project site and that there were no substantive design changes.
Commission staff reiterated the commission's standard special conditions: submission of final design plans before any construction activity and advance review and approval of dewatering setups. Commissioners confirmed the change from hay bales to straw bales in the dewatering detail and asked for final plan stamping and dates.
The commission voted to close the public hearing and to issue the order of conditions as stated. Commissioners recorded affirmative votes during roll call.
Next steps: project proponents must submit the final, stamped design plans and dewatering details for staff review and approval prior to construction.
