The Weatherford City Council approved the final plat for the Montclair subdivision (89 lots) by a 5–0 vote after staff clarified and read into the public record two additional conditions that appeared in the staff report but not the printed agenda.
Casey Stevenson, the design engineer for the applicant, said the drainage shed, traffic impact analysis and construction plans had been approved and the project was nearing final construction. "The drainage shed has been approved, the TIA has been approved, the construction plans have been approved, and we are very near the final bit of construction," Stevenson said.
Council members sought confirmation that the full set of nine conditions was publicly available; staff pointed to the staff report attachment and read items 8 and 9 into the record (detention pond containment within drainage easements and an access easement across specified blocks). After confirming the conditions and available attachments, the council approved the final plat subject to the staff‑listed conditions.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed with required public improvements and final construction sequencing once staff sign‑offs are complete.
