Commission approves Dimco Magnolia Beach Road final site plan with landscape buffer

The Livingston Parish Planning Commission approved a final site plan for the Dimco Magnolia Beach Road project on May 7 after the civil engineer outlined planned improvements and confirmed landscaping and fencing obligations.

John Gibson, the civil engineer on the project, said his team included the required landscaping and fencing discussed with planning staff to address neighbor concerns. Parish engineering reported that “All of our comments have been addressed and we would recommend approval.” Commissioners verified that the developer intends to include the barrier and landscaping previously discussed with planning staff.

A motion to approve the final site plan was made, seconded (mover reported as Mister Danner; second Mister Guidry) and passed on the commission’s vote.
