Court docket: bonds adjusted, competency findings and multiple plea outcomes in routine docket call

Notable orders included: a commitment for inpatient competency restoration for Samuel Jones for a period not to exceed one year after the court found he had not regained competency; bond settings for Thaddius McCrae — $400,000 on a probation-revocation motion (conditioned on house arrest and GPS) and a reduction of his murder bond to $1 million with the same monitoring condition; and denial of further bond reduction for Elazar Stanberry after the court considered prior weapon-related allegations.

The court accepted several guilty pleas under negotiated agreements, including Ricardo Rodriguez (aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; two-year sentence) and Justine Williams (obstruction/retaliation; two-year sentence). The judge also deferred and scheduled visits or records gathering — for example, ordering a placement representative to appear in Alan Wayne Bell’s case and indicating the judge might visit the proposed placement before ruling.

Court staff were instructed to produce requested videos, ensure discovery is accessible (including physical copies where portal links failed), and coordinate interpreter-assisted jail visits for detained defendants when language or competency issues were raised.
