The Hillsborough Township Planning Board on May 7 adopted two resolutions and announced public outreach for its Master Plan before voting to cancel the board’s May 14 meeting and adjourning.
The board introduced and approved a resolution for Sudh Dev and Rachika Angras (file 21 PB13MSV). Chair presided over the motion to adopt; the motion was seconded and a roll call recorded affirmative responses from Mr. Flagg, Mr. Radovitz, Deputy Mayor Lipani, Mayor Payne and Vice Chair Pizil. The chair confirmed the motion carried.
The board also considered and approved a resolution for Dukes Parkway East LLC and Crane Farm, LLC (file 24PB11 MSPV). After a motion and second, roll call recorded affirmative votes from Mr. Flagg, Mr. Radovitz, Mr. Smith, Deputy Mayor Lipani, Mayor Payne and Vice Chair Pizil; the chair announced the resolution carried.
Planning staff used the meeting to promote the Master Plan Open Space and Recreation Elements survey and an interactive workshop. "It is currently open. It's open until the seventeenth. Please take the survey as soon as you can to help us shape the master plan," Mr. Kois said, describing a May 13 workshop that will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room. He said the session will use a roundtable format with multiple themed tables, moderators and audiovisuals and invited both the public and board members to participate.
The chair opened the floor for public comment; no members of the public addressed the board during that period. The chair then asked for a motion to cancel the May 14 meeting; a motion was made and seconded and the board approved the cancellation by voice vote. A motion to adjourn followed and the meeting was closed.
Application files and survey materials are posted on the Hillsborough Township website and complete application files are available for inspection in the Planning and Zoning Department, as announced at the meeting.
