Bradford County commissioners approve consent agenda; clerk and manager announce appointments, workshops and burn-ban reminders

The Bradford County Board of County Commissioners approved the consent agenda by motion and voice vote after Commissioner Dory moved for approval and Commissioner Thompson seconded.

The clerk reported a forthcoming vacancy on the Value Adjustment Board and asked commissioners to nominate a citizen member who must own homestead property and not represent any taxing authority; the clerk asked the board to appoint the replacement at the April meeting.

County Manager remarks included a reminder of a community workshop scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Charlie John Center (described as a consultant-led public-input session on the comprehensive and strategic plans), and recognition of Bradford Sports United for recent sign-ups. The manager also reminded the public that the county burn ban remains in effect.

Commissioners closed the meeting with staff thanks and reminders about upcoming agenda items; the chair adjourned the meeting.
