Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD released a short bond update showing construction progress at Midway Park Elementary.
"Right now we're at Midway Park Elementary, which is being built using our average Creek prototype," the presenter said, pointing out site features and early building work. The presenter noted a north fire lane and a planned pair of driveways as part of the site layout.
The video shows a two-story classroom wing under construction and a crane staged to lift steel for the second floor. "The crane's ready to lift the steel from the ground to build the second floor," the presenter said. The update also identified smaller windows that mark the front office and stated the library will sit at about the "7:00 position" on the site plan.
The presenter highlighted the gym and an on-site storm shelter, saying precast shelter walls "went up over the spring break." The update added that soccer fields formerly known as the Trane Day fields will be rebuilt next to the tennis courts.
The clip ran about 30 seconds and did not specify a completion date or construction budget.
The update provides a visual progress report for the community as the bond-funded project advances; the district has not provided additional schedule or funding detail in this short video.
