Hinsdale commissioners approve storefront window sign at 33 E. First St.

The Hinsdale Historic Preservation Commission approved case A-3-2026, a sign-permit review for 33 East First Street, after an applicant from the building’s design-build firm explained they wished to convert a temporary, see-through window sign into a permanent sign that occupies roughly 1 percent of the window area.

Commissioners asked to confirm the photograph provided reflected the existing installation and, finding no code conflicts, moved, seconded and approved the sign permit by roll call. The vote recorded commissioners present as voting in favor and the applicant was told they were 'good to go.'
