The Clarion-Limestone Area SD board approved a series of personnel motions and vendor renewals during the meeting. The board moved and carried motions to approve minutes, hire seasonal/game workers and to accept resignations, including staff departures effective April 7, 2026.
On contracts, the board considered renewal of the athletic-training agreement with Lion Rehabilitation Services Inc. to provide a full-time trainer for the 2026–27 school year at a district cost of $65,632.72 (previous-year amount $61,873.56). The board held a roll-call vote; each member present (Bob Smith, Julia Pando, Chris Mogus, Dave Eagleton, Nathaniel Parker, Tom Walter, Marty Selker and Gary Sproll) was recorded as voting yes and the motion carried.
The board also approved a regional WAN agreement through the intermediate unit for discounted internet services, accepted a $10,000 Pittsburgh Pirates Charities grant to construct a 24-by-72 batting cage (materials estimated at about $7,000 with student and maintenance labor as in-kind match), and approved the 2026–27 school calendar and related personnel calendars.
These actions were passed by recorded roll call where required or by voice vote for routine items. Several personnel approvals remained contingent on receipt of required legal documents.
