Nolensville commissioners approve budget, rezoning, annexation and multiple contracts

The Nolensville Board of Commissioners completed a series of votes on May 7, approving the town's annual budget and tax rate and a slate of ordinances and resolutions.

Key outcomes: Ordinance 26‑11 (2026–27 budget and tax rate) was adopted; Ordinance 26‑03 (rezoning of 2384 Rocky Fork Road) passed on second reading; Resolution 26‑046 called for a public hearing on owner-consent annexation of parcels on Nolensville Road and Williams Road; Resolution 26‑055 authorized an award to AMI Construction Inc. for roadway repairs and resurfacing; Resolution 26‑056 authorized carpet replacement at Town Hall with Extreme Flooring; Resolution 26‑057 reaffirmed the town's debt and fund-balance policies; and Resolution 26‑058 authorized a rebudgeting request to the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for an LPRF grant for Chrismont Brown Park. The board also approved Resolution 26‑049, granting a certificate of compliance to Nolensville Liquor Inc. for a retail package liquor store at 7175 Nolensville Road.
