Board accepts field amendment for Fairview façade and missing windows

The Somerville Borough Zoning Board reviewed photos and approved a field amendment for a recently completed Fairview façade after staff presented images showing four east-side windows and one south-side window were not installed as shown on the approved plans.

The planner said the differences are aesthetic, do not create new bulk variances or stormwater effects, and therefore do not require additional notice. After brief discussion a board member moved and the board voted to accept the change as a field adjustment. The applicant will be notified and staff will place a memorializing resolution on next month’s agenda.

Planner staff noted the façade colors, setbacks and overall sizes remain consistent with the prior approval; the board characterized the item as an aesthetic field adjustment rather than a substantive change to the approved site plan.
